I’ve mentioned concerns for professional photographers in the past, but what do you do when the trend for clothing campaigns stops being photography based, but instead becomes painting based? Gucci’s SS18 Collection was illustrated and digitally painted by illustrator Ignasi Monreal.

In fact, Gucci’s catalogue is so rich with references, NSS Magazine has went to a great effort to catalogue all the references they could find. You have to love the innovation and creativity behind them (and hope that it is inspiring) – though as time goes on I think the gap between small brands and large brands will be so big that there will be no way to jump the gap.
