Nordstrom’s is winning organic search online, checking L2’s data IQ on indexes in June 2017. They didn’t quite place for beauty products. Macy’s appears less dominant here then they actually are, as they pay to be in the top rankings meaning they have a stronger visibility across more keywords, but they pay a heavy price for it. read L2’s report.

Even more interesting to me, is the placement of amazon being a good 20% below Nordstrom across the board. Does google penalize them, or do they spend little to no time on SEO?
